Zipper Face – 21 October 2016

I’m so lucky. Not only did this super sweet and amazing man ask me to be his girlfriend today, but he also let me try out a burn make-up look on his face. I started out with using liquid latex to stick the tissue to his face, then painted the tissue (once it had dried) with the light red, dark red, and black colors from my Wal-Mart Injury Halloween make-up collection. The zipper is another prosthetic that I purchased from Wal-Mart. It was really hard to get the zipper to stick to Joseph’s face because the part wit the actual zipper is pretty heavy, so make sure to hold it in place for a while to allow the liquid latex to dry. I used stage blood to make the wound seem really fresh, especially on the other side of the zipper. I also spread a little bit of the light red color from the Injury pack around the zipper to make the skin around the giant burn seem irritated.

Good luck,
